The Construction Technologies students, in the programs Electrical Technology, Industrial Piping, and Residential Construction, combine their skills to build a Career Center
Middle College House each year. Students decide on the design and work with the software program Punch Pro to scale the house during their Junior year. They lay out the house on the building lot before they leave for the summer.
As they arrive for their Senior year, they construct the house from the ground up. This project has been an extremely successful one for the Career Center
Middle College. These houses are sold to the general public. The Caldwell County Education Foundation assists with the financial transactions associated with the house project.
